The 2012 BMX Nationals Racing Team, aka “The Nationals”

Do you want to join a local & Nationwide BMX Team? We are currently looking for riders and teams of all ages and classes Nationwide.

Introducing a new BMX Team for 2012, The 2012 BMX Nationals Racing Team, aka “The Nationals”. Please contact us if you would like to be part of the team for the year or a National event. There is no commitment or cost involved with being on the team. Uniforms and other items will be made available for purchase. We are centrally headquartered out of Chicago, IL and already have teammates in OK, NM, WI, TX, IA, MT, MA, MO, FL, NC, AR, OH, CO, CA, SD, WY, AZ, GA, PA, KS, MI, NV, IN, & IL  and are open to any possibilities including regional team leaders, racers, families, sponsors/co-sponsors that want to step up and get involved. All rider levels welcome. We are currently accepting solicitations and proposals.

This team program is for everyone, not just the best riders but for all riders who are looking to be part of a BMX Team and a chance to be seen by the rest of the BMX world via our top ranking website and expert social media methodology. By becoming a member of our team, you may be eligible for team perks that we and our  co-sponsors may offer in the future.

Our co-sponsors for this year are J&R Bicycles, Doublecross Bikes, Rennen, Alienation, Hawk Racing, BMXMania.com, RBrad Designs, 1UP plates, 260MotoList & USABMX.net. All of whom are providing team “perks”.

We are also looking for teams who are looking for a change!

This team project started in late September 2011 so check back soon for more details and bare with us as we get our bearings set and we continue to build our website, possible co-sponsors and the team.

Here are some of the team requirements (may change at any time, suggestions welcome):
-You must be a licensed rider to participate (USABMX, ABA, NBL or UCI etc…)
-You must race a minimum of 12 local & state races per year to support local tracks.
-You will give us notice of any Nationals you plan to attend so that we can rally the team and complete in the National Team Standings.
-If still in school, you must maintain a GPA of 2.0.
-Your number plate must have a team sticker (we’ll provide) on it or race a custom team plate which will be made available soon.
-You must be willing to hang banners (when available) under your tent if you decide to use one. This is optional for now.
-You must list our team name / sponsor when registering for a race.  Please note, you can have your own co-sponsors but they must be approved. Email as needed.
-You will be representing your team and co-sponsors so you must please be polite and helpful to anyone who approaches you.
-Unsportsmanlike conduct of any sort by a rider or his/her parent may be subject to immediate dismissal. This includes verbal or physical misconduct. There will be no arguing, fighting or ‘bad mouthing’ your sponsor, fellow racers or track officials.

The 2012 BMX Nationals Racing Team, aka “The Nationals” are hoping to have team representatives at as many National events as possible in order to complete National Trophy Team standings.

If you meet all of the requirements to be part of our team, then the first step is to download and print the sign up and release forms and the mini bio. Have your parents or existing team manager (for team moves) help you with them if you need.

Once you send back the paperwork (snail mail, fax or emailed attachment is fine), the team will contact you to let you know if you have been accepted into the program and then give instructions on what to do next. We reserve the right to reject any applicant for any reason. Best of luck and we look forward to hearing from you!
